Pickler’s Bluff is a key parcel in the Two Rivers Corridor Conservation initiative. The confluence of the Yadkin and South Yadkin Rivers has important waterfowl habitat as well as intact riparian vegetation. Nearly 3.5 river miles are now protected in this area through purchases of state conservation programs, restoration sites, federal farmland protection and private conservation.
