A conservation easement on the stream buffers on this property completed protection of more than 12 miles of stream corridor along the South Yadkin and Yadkin Rivers. The landowners donated a restrictive easement on the uplands of the property, part of an area targeted for watershed protection by the N.C. Division of Water Quality in the Yadkin/South Yadkin River corridor study.
