The following table lists EEP's Watershed Restoration Plans for river basins in North Carolina that are either currently available (linked in gold/purple) or under development (green). These plans delineate Targeted Local Watersheds (TLW), which are EEP's priority areas for restoration.

For more information about how EEP selects TLWs, please review the Guide to NCWRP's Watershed Restoration Planning Strategy and the Addendum to the NCWRP's Watershed Restoration Planning Strategy (October 2003). Beginning with the Neuse River Basin in 2002, EEP began incorporating its Targeted Local Watersheds and restoration project information into the Division of Water Quality Basinwide Water Quality Plans.
