The Ecosystem Enhancement Program’s Targeted Local Watersheds are priorities for project implementation because they are selected based on analysis of the watersheds’ needs for restoration and protection. As of August 2009, EEP has identified 462 hydrologic units as Targeted Local Watersheds.
