EEP’s accomplishments and originality also have caught the notice of several
national publications in recent months. The National Oceanic and
Atmospheric Administration’s Coastal Services magazine featured a cover
photo of an EEP preservation site and an article on EEP (Wetlands
Mitigation -- Acting Proactively in North Carolina) in its July/August 2005
issue.

Bill Gilmore also penned articles for two national journals: the spring 2005
edition of ECOStates, the journal of the Environmental Council of the
States; and an upcoming edition of the National Wetlands Newsletter,
published by the National Wetlands Association. Gilmore also co-wrote an
article accepted for the Transportation Research Record, the journal of the
national Transportation Research Board.
