The National Association of Environmental Professionals is a multidisciplinary association dedicated to the advance of the environmental professions in the United States and abroad. The association provides a forum for state-of-the-art information on environmental planning, research and management.
Decision Support Professionals of Kill Devil Hills, a partner in the development of the Pasquotank Local Watershed Plan, nominated EEP for the award. EEP also worked with a stakeholder group of local residents and resource professionals from the Pasquotank River basin in developing the plan. The NAEP award recognized the planning integration demonstrated by the plan.
Bonnie Duncan, EEP’s eastern planning supervisor, served as project manager during the two-year development of the Pasquotank plan. |
