This posting is to notify potential mitigation providers with advance information regarding EEP’s intent to request Full Delivery Proposals during the state fiscal year 2006/07 and 2007/08. This information is not official and may change at any time. NCDOT mitigation needs have dropped off from past forecasts. Our most recent award was a record totaling approximately 215,000 feet of stream and 400 acres of wetland mitigation.
EEP’s operational plan for this fiscal year calls for RFPs to be requested in several phases. Our expected needs at the time of this posting are reflective of our most recent FDP awards. Also be advised that there are a series of requests presently in development. This posting is concentrating on wetland mitigation needs. We will update this page in approximately two to three months with additional data.
We have scheduled several windows of time to post notification from full delivery providers. These windows are:

Our plan of action will involve an assessment of the program in terms of need in consideration of previous awards, changes to work presently underway, or changes to constructed site asset amounts. For June 2007, advertisements will be based on new forecasted impacts supplied from NCDOT (under the Memorandum of Agreement), any new needs under the Memorandum of Understanding program, and a new planning cycle will begin for the next fiscal year. The above information is based on information we have at this point in time. Should events change, EEP may post other Requests For Proposals as needed.
As in the past, EEP plans to target 14-digit cataloging units where the work will be directed. EEP is considering increasing incentive points for those project areas of importance. This information will be supplied with the official RFP:
